Peaceful, low key - not like Kascha or KC where there are just too many people there. Banpu is very nicely maintained, fabulous bathroom with river pebbled walls. Fantastic breakfast - the staff there even remembered that I like fresh chilli in my omelette! Owned and run by Thais - it makes such a difference with the care & detail of the gardens & grounds. The pool man was attentive to any leaf falling, the kicthen staff were efficient, the cleaners even made different animals with the bath towels in our room on a few days! That was fun! Just a delight to stay at. 100m down the beach are all the restaurants on the sand, so it s all there.
