"A beautiful old hotel. Gr8 location but ill maintained facilities and poor lighting on the roads after sunset.Their tennis and squash are non existent.gym is open air and poorly equipped, pool is adequate.DO NOT GO BY THE GOOGLE MAP FOR THE PLACEMENT OF THE HOTEL IS ALL WRONG!"

"This is a huge resort hotel by the sea, and on a mountain side. They must have spent millions to create this beautiful place. It is pity there are not many guests. In fact we only saw 1 other guest till the 3rd day of our stay. Pretty hard to maintain such a huge place without enough guests, I suppose. They upgrded us to a bigger room when we requested, with no extra charge. Staff was friendly & helpful, but non of them speaks English, even at the basic level! That was the major drawback I experienced! With some drawing skills and basic Thai combined with hand gestures, we managed to communicate with them!Transport is a problem, as this is about 15km from the town. We hired a bike (hotel staff arranged it for us) for 2 days, because the hotel charges 200 B one way to go to the town.During day time, you can wait for minibus (song Taow) to the town, but they are infrequent.There are two swimming pools and a private beach; we had the privacy and luxury to share them only with one more guest. Saturday night a large group came and had a party there. But no serious disturbance to us. Next day morning there was a buffet and large selection of food. First 2 days it was same brecky, served at the table, as there were only a few geusts.This is an ideal place for a romantic get away or honeymoon, where you want to spend quiet and peaceful time. Get a sea view room and you can watch the sun rise from your bed! But you better have your own transport. It is nearly 10 min walk from the entrance to the room along a steep slope! But the hotel provided transport to the gate and even to the nearby small shops (~1km) when we requested. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>"

"Very beautiful room but the building from outside look old. It doesnt matter because good decorate nice room with sea view..i booking at sea view when i arrived the hotel.. the staff upgrade to sweety room for me,, wider hotel, have many building,, lot of restaurant, big swimming pool.. ABF very good,, and good groud coffee, tourist if go there is not convenient if dont have car,,but for me is fine just want to take rest and dont want to go anywhere. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>"

"The hotel is very isolated and old. I guess it was a top 4-stars some 20 years ago but it looks like unmaintained since then.It is very huge (several buildings, hundreds of rooms) and with just 5 guests in, we quicky felt very lonely... Fortunately , the hotel seems to host seminars and wedding parties on regular basis, which makes the place a little more lively at night.Good points to be mentioned:The room we were in had an incredible see-view.See is just at the hotel foot. "We stayed at the hotel a few days while looking for a house to buy in the area. The location was good for the purpose and they have a clean pool area with a wonderful view of the bay.The hotel is rather isolated and up a steep hill so it is almost impossible to walk to other places you have to use the hotel van.We got a enormous room with separate livingroom and bedroom. The room wasn´t very clean and especially not the bathroom. We asked for a babycot and they brought it but made the bed with only a sheet on the wooden base so they don´t seem used to children at the hotel. The hotel is manly used for different convents for Thai companies and organizations this affects the breakfast, some days a big buffe other days a few thai breakfast alternatives and one day served at the table.The restaurant should be avoided!!! Expensive compared to the hotelrooms and adding the tax and service charge. We also got food poisoning from one meal and had to spend too much time in the not so clean bathroom. Thay also overcharge for taxiservice to other places like Bangkok.So for a one or two day stop for business the hotel is ok for the money but not for a vacation or longer stay and you should have your transportations arranged from another place. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>"
